The Snyder Foundation is located in Hampden in the historic Meadow
Mill Building (which is handicap-accessible and has ample free parking),
at the Woodberry Light Rail stop. You can find us easily, whether
by rail or car, by following these directions:
DIRECTIONS:
If you come to Baltimore via the MARC or Amtrak train, take the
northbound Light Rail train (marked Hunt Valley) from either Penn
Station or Camden Yards. Disembark at the Woodberry stop, and
walk down the driveway adjacent to the four-story red brick building.
At the base of the driveway, bear to your left and enter through
the double green doors. Our office is on the second floor, accessible
via stairs or elevator.
If you are driving from the North side of Baltimore, take
the Beltway (695) to 83 South (exit 23). You will pass Ruxton
Road and Northern Parkway, at which time you should get into the
right-hand lane. Exit from 83 South at Cold Spring Lane (marked
exit 9A and 9B, but there is only one ramp). On the ramp, bear
left, and at the light at the top of the ramp, turn left onto
Cold Spring Lane. Move into the right hand lane, and at the second
light (Falls Road) turn right. Follow Falls Road south past 41st
Street and turn right onto Union Avenue (see * below).
If you are driving from the South side of Baltimore, arriving
via 95, 295 or 97, continue into Baltimore City and take eastbound
Pratt Street, following the signs to 83 North. As you travel north
on 83, you will pass St. Paul Street, North Avenue and Druid Hill.
At that time, move into the right lane and exit at Falls Road.
Continue up the hill through the traffic lights at 36th
Street and 37th Street. Immediately past 37th
Street, make a left onto Union Avenue (see * below).
* After turning onto Union Avenue, you will go through 2 stop
signs at Buena Vista and Clipper Mill Rd. Continue on Union Avenue
(you will pass under I-83) and turn left onto the driveway just
before the Light Rail tracks (do not cross the Light Rail
tracks). At the base of the driveway, bear to your left and enter
through the double green doors. Our office is on the second floor,
accessible via stairs or elevator.
