- Invested almost $3,000,000 in humane and environmental education for Maryland schools and organizations
- Awarded almost $2,400,000 to 93 Maryland humane organizations in 21 counties
- Invested over $1,300,00 in low-cost SPAY/NEUTER programs for pets of lower-income families
- Developed and provides the “Spay/Neuter Patch Program” for the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland
- Developed a pilot education program for juvenile offenders in cooperation with the Department of Juvenile Justice
- Provides programming for Girl Scouts of Central Maryland signature “Beyond Bars” Program
- Provides training on the correlation between human violence and animal cruelty for professionals in law enforcement, criminal justice, education, family services, and domestic violence prevention
- Serves on the Mayor’s Animal Anti-Cruelty Task Force for Baltimore City
- Offers more than 40 different education programs, including programs on animal safety and bite prevention, service dogs, animal civics, bats, sharks, reptiles, and the Chesapeake Bay Watershed
- Offers training in “Project WILD,” “Project Learning Tree,” and “Project WET”
- Produced and published the nationally reviewed children’s
book, A Home for Nathan
